Pocket Knife Sales Board These sorts of sales boards could almost be considered punchboards in reverse. Instead of paying a fixed amount of money and trying to win a big prize, you pick out the knife you want, then punch out a pushcard to see how much you pay for it. The board says that you can pay anywhere between 1 cent and 39 cents. Since the board is advertised to take in $4.00, that means that probably ten people paid $.39, one person paid $.09, and the other person paid $.01. But hey, you got to keep the knife, didn't you? |
